NOTE: This layout uses R145mm curves, so longer passenger cars and longer locomotives are not suitable for it! Locomotives with leading wheelsets can be prone to derailments. Noch suggests only "Bo-Bo" (2 bogie type) locomotives. 8.5cm-long cars are the maximum suggested length.

Fine print:
Gradients: Longer trains cannot run on this layout due to steep gradients. We have several reports of locomotives not making it up the grades. For compatible locos - think Marklin diesels/electrics or heavy steamers, AZL, MTL or Rokuhan locomotives. Smaller Marklin steamers can work but might only be able to pull a small number of cars.
Controller power: Noch removes the 9V battery option from future layouts; AC adapter (included) power is the only power option to ensure adequate current levels are supplied to the controller.
