This is Noch's Cortina PRE-FORMED layout. The layout consists of a sturdy wood frame base with mountains, tunnel and town pad formed of a stiff and thick plastic. The preformed scenery includes rock detail, a lake, waterfall, grass, embankments, and SIX tunnel portals!!

Noch's track plan and tips have been translated exclusively for you, our valued customers, by z.scale.hobo. We are the ONLY DEALER world-wide who offers this track plan and now the tips in English.

The Cortina layout has capability for TRUE 2-train operation (requires TWO transformers OR two speed governor circuits). It has areas reserved for two bridges and it already has a crystal blue lake!

The bridge kits are not included, pieces required are Marklin 8975 arched bridge (2), 1 x 8976, 2 x 8977, and 3 x 89794.

This fantastic layout includes 3 tunnels; including the Noch tunnel portals. One of the tunnels contains double-track. The tunnel insides are accessible via the removable moutaintops.

This board is EXPANDABLE with 3 other Noch layout boards (sold separately) with the following names, part numbers and dimensions

• Left Attachment: Noch 84350 27" x 39"
• "Apron" Attachment (front): Noch 85340 39" x 12"
• Right Attachment "Schatten" Train Station: Noch 84320 27" x 39"

The picture below shows the extension boards, while the Cortina sets in the empty space in the back. The overall dimensions when expanded are 93" x 39". This layout really gives you the flexibility to grow into the hobby with the ability to add-on at any time.
