Per January 07, 2026 announcement, this item is slated for a Q3 - 2026 release (Q3 = July to September). Prototype: 2 pairs of German Federal Railroad (DB) type Laae 540 cars (double unit) as they looked in Era IV. Model: The set includes two pairs of cars. Each pair of cars forms a permanently coupled prototypical double unit. The crossover plates are implied. The platforms are made of plastic, and the cars are designed for automobile models from the Marklin range (see p/n 8904). Total length approx. 186 mm / 7-1/4". The models are not available separately. Pre-order status - your pre-order hold funds will be applied to the final price of the item. The pre-order hold is NON-refundable except ONLY in the case where Marklin cancels the item.
