Model: The locomotive has the new-style coreless motor. Chassis is made of metal. All of the driving wheels are powered. The low side car has a tarp covered load. The box car is painted and lettered for "Bananen".

Train length is approximately 160 mm / 6.31".
The track set can easily be expanded with the optional Marklin extension sets, 8190 /8191 (E), 8192 (T1), 8193 (T2) & 8194 (T3).

NOTE: Buying from z.scale.hobo means your locomotive is TESTED prior to shipment. We take the guesswork out of "out of the box" issues by working out the kinks at our end.

URGENT COMPATIBILITY NOTE WITH ROKUHAN TRACKS: The locomotive is tested to run perfectly on MARKLIN z scale tracks. However, we have discovered that a number of these locomotives are NOT compatible with Rokuhan's z scale sectional tracks; this isn't a problem if you run with the tracks included in this starter set. Note that we offer NO GUARANTEE that the locomotive in this set will run on Rokuhan rails. If you agree to purchase this set we will not allow returns for the locomotive dead stopping issue at joints on Rokuhan rail joints.
