Troubleshooting Note: If you detach one of the powered TEE locomotives from the train, you'll notice it only goes forward; change the direction on your transformer, and it won't move at all. This is what happens when the connections between the two powered units fail: the whole train stops. That's why these couplers are so important to be in good working condition. These Marklin-developed proprietary couplers allow close-coupling between cars and also transmit electricity between them.
