In addition, all AZL SD40-2s include directional controlled LED lighting, blackened metal wheels, traction tires, AZL AutoLatch(tm) couplers and optional pilots/plows.

z.scale.hobo now offers two different pricing levels to better compete against other dealers and to offer a better backed product option for those who are more interested in being supported in case something goes wrong.

UNTESTED: We will not test the locomotive, instead we simply pass it to you without any manipulations. Any issues with the locomotive will be under standard AZL warranty and we cannot help you with return shipping in case of defects or troubleshooting efforts. For issues, basic troubleshooting tips will be offered with no possibility return. Tips such as "try burning in the locos a bit longer," "manipulate copper pickup strips yourself," dead units - "re-adjust circuit board yourself." In case of return back to AZL, you will need to pay for the label yourself. Even broken couplers are not cause for return, but will be warranted - you will have to replace on your own. Mis-matched speed with other similar units or other AZL units is not cause for return.

TESTED: We test run the locomotive, we expose any basic faults and inform you ahead of time, fixing what we can. We also post a YouTube video of your locomotive on its final test run before we ship it to you. In case of defects upon receipt, we send you a pre-paid label to send the unit back to us for repair/refurbishment if necessary. Units are not tested for speed matching and returns are not allowed for this issue.
