DIRECTIONS:
• The first step is to lay out the entire track that is intended to be set up without the Merkur Styroplast track roadbed.
• Attach all track and wiring connections.
• Connect the transformer to make sure that the track performs as desired.
• The next step is to insert the Merkur Styroplast track roadbed under the track.
• Lift the appropriate section of track, slide the Merkur Styroplast track roadbed underneath, then press the track into the recess of the Merkur Styroplast track roadbed (see picture at upper left corner, above).
• Attach the track bed to the layout: Glue the Merkur Styroplast track roadbed to the layout and the side pieces to the road bed using Noch 92420 "special adhesive." Affix the track bed with pins until the glue dries.
• Cut away excess material (where applicable; see picture in lower left corner, above) and attach the side pieces (where applicable) to the sides of the roadbed using Noch 92420 glue, and hold in place with pins until dry (picture in lower right corner, above).

FOR FLEX TRACK WITH MERKUR STYROPLAST ROADBED:
• Straighten the flex track.
• Set it into the Merkur Styroplast track roadbed.
• Bend the track and Merkur Styroplast track roadbed at the same time. Hold the Merkur Styroplast track roadbed with both hands and bend from the inside curve by pressing with the thumbs and pulling with the other fingers (see figure).
• NOTE: It is advised to fasten the flex track AND the Merkur Styroplast track roadbed to the layout since both are under bending stress.
